Our aim

Our aim is that every child and young person who moves through our homes leaves with positive, lasting outcomes - equipped with the essential life skills, resilience, and confidence needed for successful reintegration with their birth families wherever possible, and to make meaningful contributions within their communities.

Our Services

At KSC, our services are designed to provide timely, compassionate, and effective support to children, young people, and families facing complex challenges. We understand that no two situations are the same, which is why our approach is flexible, responsive, and tailored to individual needs.

Our focus is simple: to provide the right support at the right time, empowering children and young people to achieve positive, lasting outcomes.

  • We provide respite care services on a one off or on-going short-term basis to meet the various needs of children and young people. This can be pre-planned or in emergency situations.

  • KSC provides supported living placements for children aged 16 years and over. Our emphasis is on providing them safe and stable accommodation in which they are helped to develop independent living skills.

  • Our overarching purpose is to provide family centred and family style homes which provide therapeutic environment to the children and young people where they feel nurtured, safe, loved, cherished and supported to heal from past trauma.

  • We provide intensive family support intervention to children and young people who are on the verge of entering the care system by utilising restorative strategies to address complex family dysfunctional issues. 

  • We believe that “safe contact” is essential in ensuring that children maintain links with significant members of their family. Ultimately, contact should serve the best interest of the child.
