About Us

Located in the Southwest of England, Kingdom Services for Children was created in 2025 in response to a drive by Local Authorities in the Southwest to have more specialist residential care provisions in the area, to prevent children and young people from being placed far from home.

Our services include; OFSTED approved homestyle residential care homes, non - ring fenced supported accommodation, respite and emergency care. Within these provisions, we offer a range of “bespoke” trauma focused and child-centred intervention to children and young people with complex emotional, learning, social and behavioural difficulties. Our belief is that all children can thrive when in caring and nurturing environments, where they are made to feel valued, supported to identify their strengths and pursue their innate gifts and talents.

Our supported living provisions provide young people a safe and stable accommodation in which they are helped to develop independent living skills. In our daily practice, we draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to provide children with a safe, nurturing and trusting environment where they are supported to build connections, reduce shame and address underlying challenging behaviour. These include the PACE model, restorative practice model, psychodynamic counselling, motivational interviewing and play and art therapy.

Kingdom Services for Children is a diverse team of highly skilled and driven residential managers, therapists and key workers who are passionate about helping children and young people in crisis to empower them to achieve better outcomes in life, which may involve reunification with their families, moving on to moving on to mainstream foster placements or independent living solutions.
