Our family style residential homes offer bespoke trauma informed care packages to meet our children’s individual needs. We aim to provide homes were children feel nurtured, safe, valued and supported to address past trauma and their emotional and behavioural difficulties.

We provide solo placements for children with a greater level of need stemming from trauma and attachment difficulties, who struggle to settle in a group setting. We also offer provisions which cater for two or more children presenting with emotional and behavioural difficulties requiring specialist care. 

Our practise is trauma informed, child centred and therapeutic. Children in our homes have access to in house clinical intervention from our in-house therapist who can work with them directly or by supporting their key workers on how to provide them ongoing therapeutic care.

At Kingdom Services for Children, we hold high aspirations for every child and young person we support. We go above and beyond to help them achieve their academic potential, working creatively to overcome barriers to learning and providing additional opportunities that build confidence, motivation, and success.

Ultimately, our aim is that every child and young person leaves with positive, lasting outcomes equipped with the essential life skills, resilience, and confidence needed for;

• Successful reunification with their birth families wherever possible,

• Reintegration back into their previous foster placements or new placements,

• A successful move into independent living solutions.

Our staff are highly trained and have considerable experience of working with children who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), including trauma, neglectful care, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, child exploitation, mental health difficulties and drug and alcohol abuse. All staff members have weekly consultations with our in-house clinician to discuss the care and progress of all the children in our care. We provide ongoing training to all staff members to ensure a high level of service delivery.
