Supported Living

Accommodation (16+)

Kingdom Services for Children provides supported living placements for children aged 16 years and over. Our emphasis is on providing them safe and stable accommodation in which they are helped to develop independent living skills. Our goal, is for them to be well equipped to approach adult with the necessary skills needed as they transition into adulthood. Our hope is that by the time they leave our provision, they will be set up to pursue careers of their choice and to make a positive contribution to their communities.

We work alongside Local Authorities or on our own to undertake an enhanced assessment for each young person to determine their level of need and abilities. This information is used to formulate their individual plans and bespoke support package which outline how they are supported to develop their independence, pursue further education and training, and career aspirations as they approach adulthood.

We work in line with the Care Leaver’s Charter to ensure that all young people are provided with a positive, consistent and excellent standard of care.

Our Supported Living service provides sole and multiple occupancy accommodation for young people who are able to live independently with support. We ensure that our provisions provide a warm and nurturing environment to enable our young people to feel at home.

We have a team of support workers who support young people in our provisions to develop the practical and emotional skills required to live independently and reach their full potential.
